Hi, I would like to contribute to the development with a donation, is that possible?
In theory yes, but in practice it's really hard to put the money to good use: All of us just work for fun in their free time, so repaying developer work is hard to do in a fair way (by SLOC? by commit count? bounty for a feature, but what if >1 people worked on it?, ...).
My observation is that the project lives from its "independence" (vs "it's always been done like that"), so we should not try to change this, but decide carefully what of the usual things are good for us.
The only thing I can think of right now is paying server cost or electricity for our Kevin CI host or DNS server. So if you want to leave some money for the infrastructure, just contact me on matrix (@TheJJ:matrix.org) so we figure out a way.
I'll go ahead and close this now as I think your question should be resolved.
