My projects are not loading anymore after Omnisharp automatically self-updated this morning. Below is an excerpt of the error message:

I don't know how or why the automatic Omnisharp self-update broke my environment, but this fixed it:

I don't know why, but my version is 5.8.0. I don't know what this version is. But ln -s to Current solved the problem.

in either case, an upgrade to Mono 6.4.0 should resolve it

Thanks, filipw. That's right, if Mono framework version too low, it will cause this problem. Correct way is to download and install newest Mono framework from https://www.mono-project.com/download/stable/
