Ombi: Self un-subscribe link in bottom of newsletter for users to unsubscribe themselves.

As directed in discord... i should make a github issue to track the request for this feature request. Would be great if users who receive the newsletter can unsubscribe themselves.

Came here to post this and found the suggestion had already been made.
Would be much appreciated if this could be implemented, even if it's just done via a notification variable in the message at the top of newsletter emails.

On a related note could I also suggest it be possible for users to opt-in to the newsletter via a button somewhere on the web interface perhaps?

Ohhh opt in is a good idea. Not sure where to place it. In the update details I guess.

This issue has been automatically marked as stale because it has not had recent activity. It will be closed if no further activity occurs. Thank you for your contributions.

My servers (and gmail for this reason presumably as well) are classifying ombi mail as spam due to the lack of unsubscribe link. I tend to agree with the classification.

Newsletter-type mail really needs an unsubscribe link in my opinion.

Is it possible to do this through the api? I looked at the swagger API documentation but didn't find anything on changing the roles of a user...

Just allowing something like a mailto:{adminemail} on the newsletter, or all really, would be a really big help. This would really help lower the spam confidence level on the generated emails.

<a href="mailto:{adminemail}?subject=Remove Me&body=Please remove me from this list">Unsubscribe</a>

Yeah even ability to click a link to send email to admin would be great addition.

Is there a way to turn the newsletter off per user?
