It can be done, but the problem would be, we would have to change the name of the product to start (wouldn't make sense otherwise).
It would be possible, but it doesn't fit in with the whole name...

I upgraded to 2.1.1382 and I successfully connected to emby (according to test connectivity).

Unfortunately, my available movies from emby side was not automatically marked as "available" on Ombi.

First question, should it works with requests done BEFORE the upgrade (it could be the problem but I will test with new request to be sure).

Second, how do you search movies on emby and especially at language level ? I ask because my emby is configured with french language so all contents is in french (title, description ..). Emby seems bad for that because when you look for the english (original) name of a movie on the emby webui I have no result whereas if I look for the french title, emby found my movie. As ombi seems use original movie title, I am asking me if it does not look for the english title and did not find because emby does not make automatic translate. Is it possible ?

EDIT: I just tested after database reset with a fresh install : it works like a charm ! I tested both language movies (with and withtout a different name in french in contrast of original title).
It is fantastic, I finally can stop plex service which used only for that and totally migrate to emby. Thanks very much, I will make a donation that you deserved.

Please forgive my noobness. I have Ombi installed but the wizard asks me for my Plex credentials. I don't use Plex I use Emby. I read somewhere that the new EAP version asks if you're using Plex or Emby during the startup wizard. How do I install the EAP version over the release (master) version? Is there a GIT address someone can spoon feed me?
I used GIT clone on the EAP repo but there is no Ombi.exe in there that I can see. Any help is much appreciated. Or directing me to another support medium. THANK YOU!!!

im using linuxserver docker and am wondering the same thing.

no emby only plex :(

@thatoneguy99 You need the EAP branch for using emby.

Just overwrite the files with the files of the EAP version. Don't forget to unblock your files. You can't clone our git. You need to download the zip file.

There is a nice download button on the github page, you can't mis it ;)
