Hi, I have had the same issue after installing omf, but it was solved as soon as I opened a new terminal window.

I use Alacritty, and omf doctor outputs

Oh My Fish version:   7
OS type:              Linux
Fish version:         fish, version 3.1.2
Git version:          git version 2.27.0
Git core.autocrlf:    no
Checking for a sane environment...
Your shell is ready to swim.

Had the same problem, but opening a new shell did solve it for now.
