October: Content editor in Backend

When i go to edit a content in the CMS, if the content is a .md file I see no WYSIWYG editor (image 1), and for both .htm & .md files the content doesn't wrap, it just flows off the screen (Image 1 & 2)?

Is this supposed to happen? If so, no problem, was just wondering :)

The markdown preview (like in the blog), with the drag-drop image feature, would be awesome to have here. +1

Also, could there be an option to turn content wrapping on/off?

I'm aware that on smaller screens there may not be room to add an editor & preview for .md files, so maybe this can be a toggle?

@DanielHitchen, please confirm that there's a bug with the code wrapping. I can't replicate the problem - the editor respects the code editor settings.

The Markdown preview is another feature, I opened the Enhancement issue for it: #379
