Do you have any third-party plugins installed? If so, which ones?
It's a default install. I have not installed anything.
Is the issue related to a specific email provider (Gmail, Exchange, etc.)?
I am using Gmail.
A former colleague of mine sent me an email containing no text, but one PDF attachment. The attachment shows fine in Gmail UI, but Nylas has no indication of it - it just displays the email message as if it is empty - i.e no text and no attachments.

This happened to me to and I'm using Windows it was also a PDF file.

Same problem here, sometimes the email attachments are not showing at all (Linux & MacOS)!

I can confirm that this issue only appears when the sender is using Apple Mail
Any other client seems not to create that issue.

Confirming that the issue appears when sender is an Apple Mail. I just received an email with a word and a doc attachment. Nylas sees only the word attachment, while Gmail on a browser shows both.

Same issue here, but on my end as I'm trying to send someone a pdf. The attachment shows while I am creating the message it but for some reason after the message is sent, Nylas is no longer showing it. I opened up the email on gmail and it shows the attachment but it seems to be corrupted as it's not showing as a pdf file.
For reference, both of us are using gmail and macOS. I'm on El Capitan, not sure what he's on.

I can confirm that this a) is still happening since I reported it some months ago for the initial 2.0 version and b) mostly happens with PDF files, but I have an e-mail with PDF, .doc and image files where only the .doc files show (and Nylas incorrectly only counts two attachments) and c) does not happen with all PDF files, as some PDF files are visible, but most aren't.

In my case, PDFs and in cases images are not visible as attachments. This is pretty annoying.
It seems like depending on how attachments are added to the email from the sender. I assume that in case a) the attachment is dropped in or b) attached via the attachment menu item. a) seems like to cause nylas not displaying the attachments.
