Does this feature exist in another mail client or tool you use?

No, but I'd love to see this as an extension of Nylas ID. Currently it tracks how many email accounts I've associated with it, but doesn't actually sync new emails I add across devices or automatically set up my old emails already associated with the Nylas ID when I set N1 up on another device. If you're going to make us create yet another account to use N1, then it may as well do that...

We're considering adding this in the future, but we need to add more security features to the Nylas ID auth first if it's going to broker access to email. 2-FA is the most obvious protection in addition to protections for suspicious auth attempts.

Ah I see. Is there a roadmap for this feature? Also just curious, but why wasn't 2fa implemented to begin with? Not enough time? Or not enough data needing to be protected to warrant it?

Syncing configuration across all devices is a very strong expectattion given the mandatory nylas account associated to this product. Doing a new install, I was really suprised to find out my configuration and accounts were not synced.

This would be awesome! I was under the impression that part of the main reason to build an application like this (with Electron, etc, using HTML, JS, CSS, etc) would be the easy cross-platform/device configuration. I was also really surprised that I couldn't just export my settings and import on another device. I've set up Nylas (for better or worse) 4 times now, and redefining mail rules is a big pain in the ass.

FWIW: +1 on this. Setting up on multiple computers, for multiple accounts and aliases + signatures is a PITA at the minute. Please!

+1 for this feature. I was surprised that it wasn't already the case given the requirement of the Nylas ID. Maybe just sync the setting and accounts, but require the users to re-authenticate each email address on a new device. This is how Airmail works, it's great. When I add a new account to one device the settings appear on all and I just need to sign in on each device and signatures etc... will be synced.

Ok, so I've setup the Quick Replies and the Plugins to sync via Resilio Sync. I did this by replacing the templates and packages directories in the .nylas directory with symbolic links to directories within a Resilio Sync directory.

However I couldn't find signatures. Anyone know if there is a signatures directory?

I also decided not to try to sync setting etc as it seemed like I'd just corrupt something.

Is this feature still in the works or at all? This is pretty much the only reason why I would consider switching from the very reliable Thunderbird client. Syncing rules and email settings for every machine is a major pain.
