Also, please add the ability to disable swipe actions. I want to turn them off because I do not use them.

In addition please remove the dependency that currently exists in General settings, "Use backspace / delete to move messages to Trash" that is linked to Mailbox swipes that is a binary either/or Archive/Trash (both should be available)

Sidenote: A plugin or preference-pane that allowed one to swipe using the cursor + drag (as opposed to trackpad events) would be greatly appreciated!

There's definitely interest to either by default or an option enable clicking and drag swiping. This could be an additional option.

Using trackpad worked well in Mailbox, but when I'm on my computer, I prefer to click and drag to "swipe". Holding down Option could let you drag the message to a folder if you wanted. If there's ever a Nylas mail app for iOS, people will get used to how it works on there and will find themselves wanting to drag emails around less, I bet.

Seconding being able to customize swiping, everybody has different tastes and needs. Customizing per account would also be nice, as some accounts I just want everything to go straight into trash, or I want a flag instead of snooze.

I think swiping left/right is too sensitive. Quite often when I try to scroll up and down I end up jiggling the message left and right and need to try 2-3 times to actually initiate scrolling.

I would like to change the behaviour of the swipes. Specifically because I have Gmail and Exchange accounts. I like to mark my emails as "Done" but Exchange doesn't have that feature, so I would like to move the emails from "Inbox" to a folder "Done". So I would like to swipe them to the folder in Exchange as with Gmail. Right now it moves it to trash which is the opposite of what I want haha.

Something new on this issue? Swipe gestures on my mac are just horrible.. In 70% of the cases I'm not scrolling but swiping left or right.. It's so insensitive!

Hey everyone. Any news on this? I am using Mailspring on a daily basis but still can't get over years of muscle memory on some gestures.

There isn't likely to be news, as NylasMail is no longer under development.
Talking the Mailspring folk into implementing this feature is your best bet.
