Exchange/Office365 supports colored labels called "Categories" which I use for extensive organization in Outlook. They work basically the same as in Gmail: an arbitrary number of categories can be applied to a given email (although categories are per-_email_ in Exchange, whereas they seem to be per-_thread_ in Gmail).
How could support for these Categories be added to N1? Seemingly, there would need to be changes on the underlying N1 service as well. Happy to help if I can somehow
Hey @bherila — hmm,it'd be really cool to support Office365 categories. Do you know if they provide an API for accessing them? I think someone tried to add support to the sync-engine, but if I remember right it was blocked because they weren't exposed anywhere.
Hi @bengotow it is part of EAS protocol and publicly documented here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee625079(v=exchg.80).aspx
It would be sooooo great to have full exchange category support in Nylas!!
I'm so sick of using Outlook and would love to replace it with Nylas. But i switched from folder hierarchies to labels and use them extensively (for incoming and outgoing mail) and can't switch before labels/categories are supported. Hope someone can help with this, i'd highly appreciated that!
