In Gmail you can mute a thread (so replies that aren't specifically directed to you are archived). Would be nice to add support for muting threads to N1, even if it's just for Gmail.
Adding a vote to this. I'm a power user of the mute function as I'm often copied in threads. On gmail, I can simply use the "m" shortcut and the thread is muted unless my name is mentioned in the thread. Would be neat not to lose this in Nylas.

+1 I would love to have this feature.
My co-workers live to reply all. I need this. :) +1

How does a feature get moved from here to Trello? Just by the devs seeing it and agreeing?
Mute has become an essential feature for me, otherwise my Gmail inbox would be unmanageable.
Agreeing completely here. This feature is a must for users of mailing lists. :)

For the record this is why I haven't been using N1 for ages now
I still use N1.. but it is painful not to be able to unsubscribe from the abuse of the serial mass reply-all-ers in my life #theStruggle lol... But for now i just mute em in gmail.
Yeah for the record I haven't used N1 in over a year because of this

Unfortunately Gmail doesn't expose an API to mute a thread, so we'd need to re-implement this.
Are you looking to automatically archive all future messages in the thread? Kind of like "unfollowing" it?
Yeah exactly
