My old computer motherboard burned out, so I had to get a new computer. So far it has been good to put up with. However, it looks like Microsoft has withdrawn Visual Studio 2019!
I downloaded the 'Visual Studio Installer' from https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/downloads/ but it turned to be a 2017 installer. There is no option to install 2019. While 2017 is able to open 'Notepad3.sln', the build process always fails because there is no v142 compiler.
Is it possible to downgrade this project?
Hello @lhmouse ,
No Visual Studio 2019 is not withdrawn, maybe the limitation for your country? 馃
Which OS are you using ?
Here the English link:
And the Chinese Simplified link:
I don't know what happened with MS installer but after upgrading the VS installer, 2019 is available now.
The previous installer (which displayed only 2017) was vs_community__1031795814.1610031341 which I downloaded on Feb. 6th.
The working installer is vs_community__808406879.1611474898.exe.
