Yeah, why not close all unresolved tickets? No time will be wasted to resubmit all the reports, right?
Also why not close all the old issues, just in case, when the new release is out. Surely users will continue to report the same issue for every new release or (better) give up on submitting those outstanding issues that apparently don't attract enough interest from the developers.
