Node: Please publish a short installation guide!

For years people have been asking the question, how do I upgrade my node installation on Windows. For years forums like Stack Overflow have stirred and buzzed with suggestions and experiences. It's all a waste of precious and expensive developer's time.

Please describe the desired behavior.
I would love to see on your Web site in the Guides section of the documentation an Installation/Update Guide. Such a guide would likely only be a couple of pages describing how to install Node on various platforms and how to update existing installations.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Please describe alternative solutions or features you have considered.
Those I've described in the problem section above. I've done this. I get it, but it's just painful to see how much time is wasted by the omission of a short and simple document on the official site.
