What is the plan on when the next branch will be merged into master and released?
I have been using the v2.0.0-pre.5 in production for a while and it seems reasonably stable. And definitely an improvement over v1

I really wanted to get some more structural work done, but I clearly haven鈥檛 had time. I鈥檒l re-review things and maybe reach a decision this weekend.

@jsumners Obviously life is chaotic right now, and I don't want to apply any undue pressure for a release. I am about to build a new integration with LDAP at work, and this library looks excellent for that. Should I wait for v2.0.0 to release (or start using it now), or should I plan on sticking with the current release for the foreseeable future?

Go ahead and work from the latest rc. I'll simply be releasing what is currently on next as v2.0.0.
