No progress at the moment, if you wanna take a stab at it here is some code from my ng1 project that would be similar implementation for this - https://github.com/swimlane/angular-data-table/blob/master/src/components/body/BodyDirective.js#L33

Just curious if any update on this? This is a much needed feature for our project. I may take a stab at implementing myself based on the ng1 project. Is this something you would be willing to look at a PR for if I succeed?
