Ngx-charts: activeEntries not working for Pie and Bar chart

Current behavior
activeEntries object array is not respected.

Expected behavior
Based on activeEntries values slice should be higlighted.

  • ngx-charts version: x.x.x
    Tried both 6.0.2 and 5.3.1

  • Angular version: 2.x.x
    Angular 4

  • Browser: [all | Chrome XX | Firefox XX | IE XX | Safari XX | Mobile Chrome XX | Android X.X Web Browser | iOS XX Safari | iOS XX UIWebView | iOS XX WKWebView ]

  • Language: [all | TypeScript X.X | ES6/7 | ES5]
    ES6

same issue here (version ngx-charts 8.0.0)
