I've been recently aware of some comments on some issues against this project. These comments are unhelpful or sarcastic, and to put it bluntly, they are just rude.
For the most part, the community here has been very supportive. It's a shame that some people lose sight of the big picture and expect the world on a silver platter. Let me reset your expectations a bit:
Please be mindful that I'm not getting paid to make this software for anyone, especially you.
Please be mindful that I'm just one guy working on this project. One guy with a family, a full-time job, a dog and a cat.
Please be mindful that I don't have the time to solve your edge case scenario in a timeframe that suits you.
Please be mindful that the choices made for this project might be for a specific reason. I cannot, and will not, accommodate everyone on the planet.
馃А I want to thank everyone who has opened a PR to address issues they are able to help with and I especially want to thank everyone who already keeps these things in mind when logging their issues.
鉂わ笍 Even more so I want to thank those who have bought me a coffee, I really have zero expectations when it comes to making money from this project and those donations help support my Udemy learning :)
Thank you for all you do with this project. I like this project better than the swag. I prefer GUI better but learned a lot from doing it on the cli as well. Thank you.
Great tool. So good I thought it was a dream of mine. Solved me a lot of issues. Happy to contribute back.
Thank you for your kind and helpful contribution(s) to open source software. And yes especially this brilliantly useful and elegant project; may it live forever.
I honestly cannot fathom how anyone would be rude towards a project that helps a lot, totally free and developed without pay.
To me personally, this is a work of art and I greatly appreciate it.
Best wishes.
@jc21, thank you for such nice tool you have made. works like a charm, I am using it more than a year. I am subscribing to your channel github and honestly, I have been waiting for a similar writing from you because the questions is endless from users..; Sincere thanks for this simple proxy with nice interface.
Today I bought 20 cups of coffee :) A warm, beautiful approaching Christmas to you, your family.
Thank you so much for all the work you put in, seriously. It pisses me off to see entitled people crapping on your hard work.
Please don't take these comments seriously. Your software regularly helps me keep track of my homelab without going insane. I use it at work to manage test benches and I could not have asked for a better program.
Thank you again for everything that you do. I have a small question, where do I make a "Feature Suggestion" post? I imagine it does not go into the issues tab.
This project has made managing my home reverse proxy SSLs so much easier. Trust me when I say that the dissenters are only the loudest few. We appreciate all your hard work on this project.
Family always comes first. Cheers!
You made a great job to create this project. I am not a beginner in all this stuff, but nevertheless it is a really helpfull tool to manage my proxy this way. A big thanks to you and chapeau for all your work. I know it can be hard to ignore all the idiots on this world, but go forward and think of the people who really love this what you did...
Happy Xmax!
Yes, thank you. Don't let some idiots destroy your motivation.
I am using NPM and while it is missing a couple of "it would be cool ifs" it works great for it's intended purpose. Thank you for making this great tool public.
