Ng2-select: Using the 'query' option

In the readme file where the items property is described there is a reference to a query property for those of us who would like to load the select box with non-local data. Is this feature not fully implemented - or is it not fully documented?

A quick search through the source code shows no reference to 'query' in that kind of way, so it's definitely not implemented.
