The issue appears to break at the match(/^///) line, which preminified looks like this: match(/^\/\//).

2. open console and see syntax error

Expected behavior

No syntax errors and the .match to have not changed from the value given in the string literal.

I was going through this too, but I think you can add another backslash \ to make it escape twice:

match(/^\\/\\//)

finally got around to implementing the fix, closing this. thanks @wkurosawa !
