NewPipe on non-touch-screen-devices (like Firestick)

Hi,

I am using Newpipe on the Amazon Firestick. In the Newpipe settings one can configure the main page. (Should be something like "content on the mainpage", I am using the German version.)
The only way for example to remove the trending section is with a touch screen, isn't it?
It would be nice if there would be a way to do it also with just "clicks".

A dirty workaround like edit a file and remove a line would also be totally enough for me :)
