Nativescript: StackLayout height cannot exceed '5460' on Android

Created on 4 Nov 2018  路  3Comments  路  Source: NativeScript/NativeScript

<GridLayout>
     <ScrollView>
    <StackLayout class="home-panel" height='5460' backgroundColor="#fafafa" borderWidth="1">
              <!--Add your page content here-->
    </StackLayout>
    </ScrollView>
</GridLayout>

borderWidth and background can be seen when the height is 5460.
However as the height exceed 5460, StackLayout face problems.

This is not a problem on Ios.

HI all,
I have tested the sample project on a Samsung device and was able to recreate the issue. I will mark this as a bug. For further info, I would suggest keeping track on the issue.

Hi @tingfong214,
Thank you for the provided sample project. I tested it on my side, however, was unable to recreate a similar problem. For your convenience, I am attaching a screenshot.

It will help if you provide some more info about the problem and info about the device, which you are using for testing.

My team and I also met this problem as well. I think this is a bug @tsonevn, I do recreate the same problem if I change height="5460" to height="5461" as aforementioned by @tingfong214 with Samsung Galaxy S7
