After I upgraded to 1.6 all animations in all of my NativeScript iOS apps are laughably slow. This includes page transitions, alerts, drawer animations—everything.
Any ideas what might be up here? This might be just me, but I’m seeing this behavior on newly created apps too.
I’m using Xcode 7.2.1.
The second I posted this I figured out the problem. The iOS simulator has a “Slow animations” debug option you can toggle with Command+T
, which I at some point much have inadvertently set.
I’ll shamefully close this issue now...
