In MyBatis 3.5.1, LocalDateTypeHandler was updated and it now requires a driver that supports JDBC API 4.2 (and we have received many similar reports).

The good news is : Oracle provides ojdbc8.jar which supports JDBC API 4.2
The bad news is : Druid currently does not work with those drivers. See https://github.com/alibaba/druid/issues/2867

As a workaround, you can copy the old implementation to your project and register it against LocalDate in the config.
Another option is to switch the connection pool library to something else.
