Multi-account-containers: Real status of the project - Is this still alive?

Hi!

I have being using this great Addon in the last days, but I see no movement in the repository (last commit was March 30, more than 5 months!), 300 open issues (and counting) and 8 pull requests pending to be revised (the older one is from Feb 12).

Is this still alive? Is this a project with inertia inside Mozilla or is this just dead and only getting really big security issues updates?

If that's the case, it's a shame.

I have had that question in my head for some time too. An official statement would be most welcome.

This add-on is in "maintenance mode" - so only regression & security fixes will be merged and deployed.

Having said that, we know the add-on has a very passionate user-base, so we're considering a path towards a community-maintained roadmap for the add-on.

We will file an issue and/or PR in the GitHub repo and/or make announcements if we are able to put together a roadmap plan for community maintenance.

Work has started again as there have been a few commits merged lately.
