Mpv: Display frame in OSD (optionally?)

MPV can seek by frame using , and ., but the frames do not get displayed. It would be nice if there were an option to display frames in OSD. I would not ming if I had to turn this on. I spot subtitles and use mpv to see if they are disaplayed at the correct time (i.e. after a cut), so this would be useful for me.

Most file formats have no concept of a frame number, so a plain frame number is not possible.
