It could automatically label issues ending with a question mark with question as a start.
Anything else we could improve with Peril? Would love to hear you opinions.
[x] Issues that end in a question mark or the title contains the words “Who”, “What”, “Where”, “When”, “Why”, or “How” are labeled as a question
[ ] Issues that contain the words “bug”, “crash”, or “memory leak” in the title are automatically labeled bug?
[ ] Issues that contain the word “Carthage”, “CocoaPods”, or "Pod" in the title are labeled Carthage or CocoaPods respectively.
[ ] We could add an "SPM" tag and look for words like "Package" or "SPM" in the issue title.
[ ] We introduce two new tags, “RxSwift” and “ReactiveSwift”. If the issue title or issue bodies contains the words “RxSwift” or maybe even “.rx” the issue is labeled RxSwift. If the issue title or body contains the words “ReactiveSwift” or “.reactive” we label it ReactiveSwift.
[ ] If the issue title contains the words “Documentation”, "Document", “Docs“, “README”, "CHANGELOG", or maybe even references “.md” it is labeled documentation. You could label these as good first issue or help wanted as well.
[ ] It looks like a lot of enhancement issues start with the words: "Improve", "Add", "Allow", "Update" or "Enhancement"

Oh my god, this is great @SD10!
@BasThomas It looks like a lot of enhancement issues start with the words: "Improve", "Add", "Allow", "Update" or "Enhancement". What do you think?
This is really awesome. Once we're done doing this, you should publish a blog post about how to classify issues @SD10
Thanks @AndrewSB! Maybe I will do that 😅
I did a lot of manual labor trying to figure out relationships between issues and labels. I was just thinking: what if there was a tool that grabbed all the issues with a certain label, takes all their titles, and finds the most used words among all of them?
Or just most used words in all the repos issues in general, this could indicate the need for a new label
That sounds like a useful tool, if I was to implement it, it would be a python script that used the GitHub API - probably <200 LOC.
Maybe that already exists
Or perhaps an extension to Danger/Peril
I’ll take a look at setting up Peril for Moya and moving forward on this sometime this weekend
