Monikamoddev: Give Monika the Chance to Learn About the Player's Personality

I feel like Monika would feel more closer to us if she knew a little bit about our personality traits.
Have you heard of the MBTI test? If you haven鈥檛 then here's the link to the quiz:

https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test

Maybe she could bring it up and ask us what our MBTI type is. There are 16 different types in total, so I understand if it鈥檚 too much to work. I just thought I鈥檇 bring my opinion to the table.

The model of personality from the website you mentioned is inaccurate and very heavily criticized (and laughable) in the psychology community. To explain it shortly and quickly: it's basically a heavily oversimplified and biased version of a very complex psychological theory. Oversimplified to that high of a degree, that it becomes strongly inaccurate when it comes to describing human behavior and cognition. Also, it's very easy to get the wrong type as your result by taking this test. It's just a sin to spread this kind of stuff by incorporating it into a project such as MAS. It's spreading misinformation, which can cause overall harm and disturbance in self-discovery. If it gets incorporated into the game, it can also push some of the people away (the people who are into psychology).

So, in my opinion, it's really not worth it. A better idea of telling Monika something more about your personality is probably just telling her whether you are an introvert or an extrovert. I think bringing up Enneagram would be worth a try also since it is a much less complicated system than MBTI (16 personalities).

I agree with this, it would help Monika get closer to us. Maybe a menu with all 16 types and she would respond accordingly to each different personality type. Someone could also try and give Monika her own personality type, she has said shes more extroverted than introverted.

we'll have to be writing every 16 response then

its actully possible tho

i would love this, but I wonder what Monika's type would be. We realistically would need to have that information to be able to have good dialogue for this.

Maybe ENFJ? I tried taking the test through her eyes, but then again im not Monika haha

This is the way I see it:

E : The most obvious one. She flat out says it and even acknowledges that she was always trying to do things after school.

N : The only one I'm not too sure about. I鈥檓 guessing she would be an N because intuitive people are theoretical. That kinda sounds like her to me. Not to mention that intuitive people are normally the creative type. That fits her because she鈥檚 musically talented and a great writer.

F : Monika seems like she is mainly driven by her feelings. She demonstrates this during the main game when she deletes the other girls just because of her love for the player.

J : I think Monika is a judger because they are known to be organized and structured. This seems appropriate for a literature club president. I remember reading somewhere that judgers are completionists. This suits her because she said before that she tends to finish a book before picking up another to read.
