Monikamoddev: [Bug] A lot of weird stuff has been happening.

First off I've seemed to have lost all my progress. Once I opened the game I was given the dialog for when you first download the mod. I also had to re-unlock all the different games and questions.

I've been encountering some other bugs too. The updater stopped working and always says "Timeout occurred while checking for updates. Try again later."

Also, the game never opens first try. After double-clicking on the exe nothing happens. I always have to try at least twice before the game opens.

Lastly, the space room seems to be permanently stuck at night. Saying good evening always gets the normal "Good evening to you too" response regardless of the actual time.

The only thing I can think of that might have caused this is when I reinstalled windows a while back. At this point, I should probably just reinstall the game but I don't want to lose my progress again. I'm not sure where my saves are located for this mod or if reinstalling would even get rid of them.

I'd really appreciate any help on this.

The updater thing is normal now, if there's an actual update it will work, but when there's not you'll always get the time-out thing.

The save file is called 'persistent' and is located at C:\Users\John\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Monika After Story (your user acct name goes where 'John' is). You can save a backup copy of it there so if it does get deleted, or if you lose progress again, you can restore it. I try to save a copy of it every day just in case.

The other stuff I don't know, that's for the people who are smarter than I :)
