We're due for a Nov 1 release to stick to our ~6 mo schedule. I've tentatively set a deadline for Oct 25th to push us to get everything in. Everyone please take a look at any PRs and issues you think we can and/or need to get done for 0.17 and mark them for 0.17 (or request that I do it if you do not have permissions).
Remember we should only mark things for 0.17 that should be blockers and we can realistically get in on this timeline, otherwise we'll need to delay the release (which is okay for very important issues). I'll be commenting on some of the existing 0.17-marked issues and PRs and probably marking them for 0.18 because they do not fit this criterion.
