Ml-agents: Selecting an agent prefab in the project editor panel results in a loop

Describe the bug
When an agent prefab is selected in the Project editor window, the Inspector flickers and the mouse keeps showing the hourglass icon, looking like the prefab gameobject is continously being reloaded.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to the worm example prefab folder
  2. Click on WormBasePrefabDynamic prefab
  3. Enjoy the error

Console logs / stack traces
No logs, but 10-15% if cpu is being used (amd 2700x) until you deselect

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • OS + version: Windows 10
  • _ML-Agents version_: 0.16 (1.0.0)
  • _TensorFlow version_: 2.1.0
  • _Environment_: worm example environment as a proof of concept, but also with my personal projects

Hi @evercloud, we're trying to reproduce this. Could you share what Unity version you're using?

Hi! It happens both with 2019.3.12f1 and 2019.3.13f1

Same issue here, after updating ML-Agents 1.0.0 and Unity 2019.3.12f1 and 2019.3.13f1 agent prefabs started flickering and open prefab button does not work.

Do either of you ( @evercloud / @tarikkarsi ) have the editor.log from these sessions you could share with us?

I see that the editor keeps reloading a native plugin. I'll ask with our editor and prefab teams to see if this is a known issue. Thanks

It looks like you’ve unearthed a bug in the editor. They are working on a fix. In the mean time, we will be adding a workaround today so this doesn’t happen in the future. Thank you for finding and taking the time to report this. It helps ml-agents and unity become better with feedback like this.
