Minikube: Support For Windows Containers

Feature Request

Currently, I know that Minikube is a single node cluster, and that node is Linux so it wont be able to run Windows Containers, but it would be better if Minikube is able to run Windows Containers also by being able to add a Windows node.

+1. I'd rather not have to work with Windows but it is a fact that it is my corporation's jam. Minikube for Windows would make some ppl's lives better.

This would be amazing, there doesn't currently seem to be a good solution out there for local development/testing of multi-node apps

+1, this is highly desirable and would be much helpful.

(reminder to thumbs up the initial comment rather than +1 spamming everyone).

does anyone have alternative workflows they're using until this feature request becomes a thing?

I personally am not sure how to implement this, but if someone wants to attempt a proof-of-concept, I'm all ears. Some interesting links for additional context:

I imagine that an implementation would likely work akin to --vm-driver=none in Linux.

Help wanted!

I don't know the first thing about Windows containers, so help wanted =)

@tstromberg Kubernetes already supports Windows containers. But there is no way to make it work that in mixed mode. It has to be one Windows or Linux where request here is either a way to mix them _(which I believe not possible)_ or make Minikube work as two nodes, Windows and Linux.

This feature needs multi-node first

94 is the prerequisite here, as @afbjorklund mentioned.

Multi-node is now available in experimental form. Anyone willing to take this on?
