I don't know how possible or worth the time this might be, but would it be possible to fix the age old vanilla ghost block bug in 1.12? The one that causes some blocks to not actually be mined when mining very fast but only seem like it on the client?
I think Mojang already took care of that in 1.13: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-5694
yah but I'm talking about for 1.12
there is a mod that allows you to fix this by requesting a packet when pressing a key
yah but not everybody wants to install a single mod just to fix a vanilla bug.
then stop using efficiency tools and overpowered mods.

But are you everyone?
Like, if it bothers you that much then just install said mod.
If they can't fix it then they can't fix it. No big deal. I just wanted to see if it was possible.
Plus that mod you mentioned doesn't really fix it it just adds another way to deal with it which imo at that rate on may as well just resort to placing blocks in the ghost block to remove it.
Anyways I'm not going to argue about it. I'll just wait on Lex or cpw or someone else to say whether or not it can be done and whether they will do it if it can.
The question is not whether it can be done, but whether fixing it lies within the (admittedly fairly large) scope of forge.
why are you blaming forge for this issue? Forge isn't meant to fix vanilla bugs (especially ones that are already fixed in later versions of vanilla), its to simply load mods in.
