Metamask-extension: Remove previously added tokens

Briefly describe the issue you've encountered

Users are not able to remove tokens once they add them in the tokens tab
### Expected Behavior
Users should be able to declutter the tokens tab. As we play around with different testnet/mainnet contracts it is common to add token addresses which may not be useful to track in the long run. It would be nice if users could remove previously added tokens

Actual Behavior

Once a token has been added, you can not remove it. This makes for a cluttered experience for devs

Yeah, and it can be so confusing about which contract is the contract address, and you end up adding loads of TOKENS which look the same but have different addresses / colours.

Should be a simple case of

1. Adding a "minus" sign next to the token
2. Popup window saying "this will not delete these tokens, you can still add these tokens again by adding the same token contract address, etc etc."
3. Click OK = de-cluttered Metamask :)

Same here. The option, even though is connected to the main network it does not necessarily shows all the tokens a meta-mask user has, so in the interface should be available.

This needs to be fixed. What kind of app doesn't allow you to delete a token when you no longer own it? Please fix!

Hi All if you wish to Hide tokens please follow these steps.......

1. open Meta Mask and sign in.
2. click the 3 little dot to bring up log out settings etc
3. click on try beta!
4. after you have opened the beta version go to your tokens
5. Click the 3 little dots next to you token to hide them
6. ENJOY!!!!!

Yeah, just found out about it.

Not a complain, but the feature that you clic on the token and directs you
to etherscan.io and you can see the txs in your wallet/token. Is so hand to
keep track of actually check a token instantly; plus allows you to take
contracts really fast.

Just FYI, might help to have available on the final version after the BETA.

The hide option on the Beta interface doesn't seem to work. It pops up 'Hide Token' but nothing happens when I click on it

@chrispay thanks for pointing out - i'm noticing this too, only on the newest release. can you confirm you're on 4.7.0?

Yeah, I'm having the same problem as well. The 'Hide Token' appears, but clicking it does nothing. I'm on 4.7.2.
