Hello,

Great software, I started using recently. I used it to scan few assets. One was sand mound that I will show as a mountain. Second was a gas cylinder.
Mound came great, I understood the settings. Issue came when I scanned the cylinder. Images had surrounding environment so it took all the extra things in the points.
I wanted to delete extra points. I wanted to tell the software to work on a certain region or points that are my main asset to save computation time.
I don't know if this feature is already there. If it is then let me know. If its not then I will love to have this feature.

This is something you might be able to fix by optimizing your capturing process.
The object of interest should fill most of your image. Also avoid reflections and featureless or transparent materials. You could attach a sample image so I can point out possible mistakes.
For difficult reconstructions you could also increase the reconstruction settings for higher accuracy.

Selecting regions in the sparse cloud for dense reconstruction is already on the wish list.

This is a must-have is it would decrease the time to reconstruct the final mesh and it would also save time for clean-up work.

Any updates on this?
