Would love the ability to disable these posts as well - many bots in other services will use the channel header space to provide status of some other service(s), and the update notification posts make this spammy/cumbersome.
@wiersgallak Thoughts on adding a setting :point_up: ?

Hey @iwita,
Welcome to the world of open source :tada:
Thanks for reaching out, I will assign the issue to you. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here on on the Mattermost Community Server.
Hi @iwita, how's this going, need any help?
This issue appears stale and I鈥檓 adding the Up For Grabs
label. If work is ongoing, please remove the label. If there is an existing PR, please also link it to the issue. Thanks!
I am sorry for not responding earlier. As I was informed by other members, this issue was not Golang related. In fact, as far as I can remember, it was related to the front end of the application (JS).
Should have informed about it. So indeed, I do not have any update.
Hello @esethna
I would like to work on this on the web-app side.
I just have to figure out how to run a dev environment.
I already found the source code. How to edit it. What needs to be changed. But I need a dev environment to make sure the code would be right.
@lestgabo all yours. If you need help please ask in the Peer to Peer help channel: https://community.mattermost.com/core/channels/peer-to-peer-help
