Materialize: Material box gallery/slideshow

Lightbox has the option to click through a set of images in the lightbox (here). I'd really appreciate having something like this for the material box.

I was picturing HTML syntax along the lines of:

<div class="materialboxed-set">
    <img/>
    <img/>
    <img/>
</div>

Also when having a waves on it's container MaterialBoxed covers up with Black Overlay.
