I think people know what the 12 animals/symbols are.

They could be as animals or by their symbol, for example Libra is pretty similar to omega icon.

Animals are pictorial and I suspect better understood than the more textual symbols. Problem with animals: too fine details for the 24 pixels grid...

I suggest closing this. I don't so the purpose of having these icons in Material Design.

While horoscopes are utterly useless, they are often seen on dating profiles so might be useful to people.

Whether you believe in something or not shouldn’t be a criterion to having icons. For example, if you happen to be an atheist, it doesn’t follow that there shouldn’t be any Christian or Buddhist icons.

I don't believe in the Horoscope, but that has nothing to do with thether MDI's scope includes these or not.

Excellent! Thanks @MrGrigri, these will be useful in the MDI Wingdings project I am working on.

I think we should rename them to all start with zodiac instead of horoscope.
