Perhaps fist-against-palm.
How about this? I labeled it karate
, but that doesn't mean that it couldn't be named martial-arts
.
Or there is a slightly different version. Google makes this hard because there is no documentation for arms bending. They have icons and guidelines for slight bends, but not this much.
Awesome!

Even better. When will the karate icon be available for download?

Is this not in the Google fit iconset?
Idk, I don't have that app. I did this from scratch.
@fractalbob, the issue will stay open until the icon is added to the repo. And that happens once there is a consensus to add it.
I did see a martial arts icon in Google Fit, but I can't use it outside of
a Google Fit app without prior permission from Google.

The "martial arts" icon in Google Fit looks a lot like @MrGrigri's, but the person is sort of jumping through the air.
And just like Google to be inconsistent, they are using rounded caps on the arms and legs; which is not allowed in MD.
I guess that's what happens when you outsource the work and haven't finished your design language yet... I feel we should try to match the style of the Google Fit icons but fix inconsistencies like this as we add them.
I'm still not really happy with this one for some reason. Maybe because the crotch area isn't centered on the body.
And the legs are different lengths.
