While searching for some icons, I found the current recommended selection limited, and some icons could not be present (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, G+, Github, etc.) and I found myself looking at other alternatives. It seems other projects do exist and it would be nice to recommend them instead of duplicating the efforts.
One such project is TeamWertarbyte/mdi-material-ui which actually seems to target this package (although <1.0.0) as a peer dependency.
Are there any plans to include missing SVG icons, or encourage third party modules as such, or otherwise?

@yanickrochon We already have a reference toward https://materialdesignicons.com in the documentation, but no reference toward implementations. I don't think that it's our responsibility to include more icons than we already have. However, suggesting different icons set is definitely a good idea! It's what Bootstrap is doing https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.0/extend/icons/.
@leMaik What's your plan with mdi-material-ui? It would be awesome to have a link toward it once it's supporting Material-UI@v1
I think that we have covered the topic.
@oliviertassinari mdi-material-ui supports [email protected] just fine, since the API of SvgIcon didn't really change. I'll update the peer dependency accordingly. :+1:
Don't forget to mention the original icon source; Austin Andrews and the contributors over there deserve all the fame. :star2:
@leMaik Awesome, let's add your project to the docs :)
