Material-ui: Scroll to active tab

Created on 20 Sep 2017  路  4Comments  路  Source: mui-org/material-ui

Hi, I'm using tabs with react-swipeable-views and the problem is when I have a lot of tabs I don't use percentage width to the tab menu items and there are not all items in the view of container. There is no functionality that scrolls to active tab menu item making it centered in the view. It is important to have such feature on mobile devices. Is is possible to bring such functionality?

Here is the gif to show what I mean:

Why not? It would be cool! the amount of tabs can be more then 3. It maybe 6 or 10 and how to show it?

This feature doesn't fall into the material design specification. You are free to implement it on your side. That's not something I think we should do here.

https://material.io/guidelines/components/tabs.html# @oliviertassinari It does fall into the material design specification! I can't understand why your awesome team ignore that, the amount of tabs can be more than 3 or 5 http://joxi.ru/823WDOQc64qvQ2
