Material-ui: [Datepicker] Allow selecting a date range

Date Picker currently only allows selecting one date. Would it be possible to allow selecting a range, so that both a start and end date can be selected on the same calendar.

Something similar to:

From what I see the range picker from example allows for selecting date limits only (ie. min and max date). I believe @timgws wants to be able to pick two dates on single date-picker.

That's correct. Currently, you need to open up two date pickers to select a range of dates. It would be awesome if this could be done on the same date picker.
