I really suggest to just add to the readme on the top which components are released and yet to be released ;).

@sbesh91 I don't get the relationship between the <select> and the MWC textfields, specially because although there are native implementations of these controls, they behave quite differently and look way too different (and even more if we're talking about the future approach of theming components)

@pandres95 The team is actively working on changes to the elements as it looks like they started from the older mdc-components. They could use to keep a running list of the available elements, but mwc-textfield seems to be in the same situation as mwc-select currently.
