Mastodon: Remove DMs from Home and Notifications when DM column is pinned

Now we have the option of a DM column, could DMs be not visible in the Home and Notifications columns when the DM column is pinned?

Maybe it would even be a good idea to remove all DMs from the home column and only hide from the notifications column when the DM column is pinned ?

Wouldn't it be confusing to change what a column shows depending on the existence of other columns?

Possibly. But people are already very confused when DMs are visible in Home and Notifications! I don't know, the DM system feels very confusing and weird to me anyway.

Would love to see toggles for DMs in the Home and the Notifications column.
Also, DMs shouldn't appear when you consult your own profile, or somebody's profile.

Isn't the current behavior to always hide DM from Home, and never to hide from Notifications? I'm rather annoyed sometimes when I forget about a DM convo because it's not in my Home, and it makes more sense to make their removal controlled by pinning or by a setting.
