Mastodon: Multiple notifications columns

I'd like to be able to have multiple pinned notifications columns - one for replies, one for boosts, one for faves, one for DMs. On my private account I'd like to have a pinnable column for follow requests too.

Copied suggestion from #7600

Instead of separate columns for each would it make sense to add icons next to the "notifications" panel title for stars, boosts & @ replies? The user would then click on each to show/hide those notifications in the stream below (faded out icons would indicate what's hidden, solid icons what's shown).

That allows you to quickly and easily hide noise from viral toots and view DMs without needing to pin an extra panel.

Edit: Potentially similar to #7123. Although I'm suggesting visual icons rather than tabs with text.
Totally new to issue-making on this project so if posting a comment here is the wrong thing to do I will fix it!

That would meet my needs better than my original post, I think - I'm usually on a smaller laptop screen so scrolling sideways can get tedious.

The new notification column meets my needs so I will go ahead and close this. @ me if you want this reopened. :)
