This is a proposal for an improvement.
When you reply to a boost, it pre-fills the original author's handle into the box, but not the boosting user's one.
So when you reply, only one of them gets a notification. I believe it would be more useful if it pre-filled both of the users, the booster and the boostee. It works the same way on Twitter (or worked, before they ruined up the mention UI).
(sorry if this is a dupe, I couldn't find anything related)
I dislike this feature of Twitter, because some users on Twitter does not care about who they mentioned to.
With this feature, you may be annoyed by replies does not related for you when booting big news, happening, jokes, etc.

I have seen a lot of people complaining about this feature of Twitter, too.
Google translate says 宸汇亶杈笺伩銉儣銉┿偆 = "trapped reply"! Good name.
I really really like seeing replies to things that I've boosted鈥攁nd the favs/boosts they get as well鈥攂ut I can see the reply feature being more controversial since it definitely encourages talking "about" vs talking "at" in the replies and that's pretty anti-social behavior.
I would like this feature.
Most often I want to reply to the person who boosted because they're the person I follow and with whom I want to discuss the content of the post. They cared about the content enough to share it so it's a reasonable expectation that they're interested in talking about it.
