Gmail
The Sent Mail folder is shown as empty. It is configured as [Google Mail] Sent Mail. It says No Messages, but there are approx 2900 messages as reported by gmail browser interface.
If I send a mail using mailspring then it appears in the Sent folder when viewed in the gmail browser interface.
Note that the other [Google Mail] folders All Mail / Spam / Bin are all show with proper content.

This is happening to me as well. This should be addressed immediately. I am on MacOS High Sierra most recent.
Happened here as well on a gmail account.
When I tried to re-write and re-send it, a part of the mail was missing.
It seems that it sent the last auto-saved draft..
Added my two gmail accounts.
all accounts area its empty, even if I select specific email.Isnt there some issue where maispring calls something sent, like item in a local folder, while gmail label - sent applies to something else?
I have the same issue. I configured three accounts, two from Gmail, and one from Office. The Sent folder on Office does display sent messages, but the Google Sent folders are blank, despite the fact that I see my sent messages in the conversation view. Running on Ubuntu. Is there a way to accelerate fixing of this issue?

Same issue here with gmail. Sent folder is empty. Ubuntu 18.04.1. deb package.
Found a solution to this: Go to Preferences -> Folders. Change the default "Sent Mail" to "Gmail/Sent Messages" setting to point to "Sent" instead. I.e. "Sent Mail" -> "Sent".

Brilliant, that actually works. Only been waiting a year for that.
What's the explanation - i.e. why only affecting me and few others ?
Many thanks.
