Mailspring: Why read receipts and link tracking cannot use?

... No. When composing email, the read receipts and link tracking icons are enabled, but i cannot receive the corresponding status in activity.

Yes， i‘m using pro version.

Hey! Thanks for reporting this @luweidut — if you have the icons enabled, Mailspring should correctly report when the email is viewed, but there are some scenarios where recipients block the tracking. For example, in Gmail if the user chooses to "Never view images from [email protected]" the read receipt isn't fetched and we can't report that they've viewed it. (Link tracking always works, it's just read receipts that can be blocked.)

If you want to sanity check the open/link tracking and make sure it's working, feel free to send me an email to [email protected] and I'll read it!

In send box, eye icon can not be found although i enable read receipts and link tracking when sending this email.

Hey! Thanks for the detail - it looks like the email you sent me contained the tracking metadata, so your mail provider isn't interfering. The eye icon does look like it's missing in that screenshot though - it should appear to the left of the date.

Can you try opening the Developer Tools from the Developer menu and see if there are any errors in the console?
