Hi all,
Loving MacPass and using it everyday.
One thing that I miss is the ability to generate one time passwords / 2 factor authentication codes for apps and websites.
Two step authentication is very common these days and it would be great to have that option built into MacPass instead of having to rely on a different app (eg Google Authenticator)
There is a KeePass placeholder {HMACOTP} that can generate OTP/2FA codes but I can't get it to work in MacPass.
Also, for added security, it would be nice if these were time-based OTPs.
Since Google Authenticator is open source, would it be difficult to implement?
1Password has a very nice implementation of this.
Thanks!
HMACOTP as well as OTP (and the steam variant) are more or less completely supported by KeePassKit. MacPass "only" needs UI to get everything going which is currently the biggest hurdle .
