Luckperms: Prefix (2 Ranks)

I'm having issues...
So when I switch someones primary group to Helper or another rank, their chat prefix still shows up as the default rank. So I have to go to /lp user (name) editor and manual delete default rank in order for their new rank to show up in chat.

Is there a way to bypass this? As I want my donations to be automatic and I have to edit it manually...

Look at the weight for each prefix. By default LuckPerms will give the chat manager plugin the prefix with the highest weight.

Prefix weights are separate from group weights.

I'm not sure what you mean by that?
Are you asking if you can view the prefix weights in the config?

If you are using YAML storage, and no doubt the other versions, the prefix weights are set up in the groups as below. Although ours match, it's a great example of just how powerful the plugin is!

example:

• 'prefix.2005.&f[&7Silver VIP&f] '
• weight.2005

Since you are using the editor, make sure the number in the prefix node is set to an appropriate value. Preferably matching the group weight
